Fan Art For Others
As much fun as drawing kittenface and crew is I find that taking a break for an homage to some of my favorite comics out there is healthy. Here are some drawings I’ve done for others.
Beeserker is awesome for many reasons. Apart from featuring a robot powered by bees it’s illustrated in one of the most colorful and enjoyable styles I’ve seen in a while. Emulating that style looked like too much fun to pass up. So I didn’t.

Cat Rackham is an amazing comic that always delights and since apparently today is “Draw Cat Rackham Day”, here’s my contribution.
It appears as though Kittenface still has a bit to learn about catiquette.
Robbie and Bobby is updated 5 times a week by Jason Poland and was reviewed previously here. Great comic, great author, go check it out.
Nedroid is consistently hilarious. It deserves every bit of praise it receives. If you have somehow missed out on the magnificence of Nedroid, get over there. Seriously.
Josh was one of the first webcomickers I met after starting 2816. He and his comic have proven to be far more thoughtful and dedicated to the craft than I ever thought possible in webcomics. Thanks Josh for breaking down some of my shitty prejudices. I present to you the Multi Josh.
Jared is about the nicest guy anyone could ever hope to meet. I was fortunate enough to share a studio with him for a few months after graduation and it was his show of motivation on Pea Green that got me started on 2816 Monument in the first place. Kudos Jared, you got me out of the post-grad-doldrums! For that I owe you quite much.
Dan Long was kind enough to let me submit a guest strip before 2816 had formally launched. Captain Remarkable made his first appearance over on EQ in January of 2011 as a throwback to Dan’s Crazy House Asylum story line. It seemed fitting to me that before Remarkable burst onto the scene he should first escape just such a place.
