Setting: Richmond Jail Downtown.
Scott: Oh, my God Paul! What Happened?
Paul: They happened, Paul. They happened.
Scott: No, No, your eye.
Paul: Ha, Ha, yeah, that... I fell down the stairs and hit my eye on a door knob...
Scott: Paul, I'm your friend, you don't have to lie to me.
Paul: No, seriously. That's what happened.
Scott: Paul, you're safe now. You can tell me the truth.
Paul: Can we please just get in the car and go home now?

Well at least we know when Captain Remarkable decides to go stair surfing he always uses something with the proper amount of padding.
Talk about a crazy night to have them all end up first back together, and then tumbling down the stairs like that.
I love how Scott keeps insisting that Paul open up about his eye. The whole “Hit a door knob” story was all we hear growing up on those after school specials it only makes sense when it really happens we immediately assume more. “It’s OK Paul, show me on this doll where they hurt you.”
Quick, somebody get that tape and a pencil, we can get the ribbon back in.
LOL, took me a bit to figure out what you were talking about here. I remember those days, winding the tape back into a treasured mix with baited breath…
I love the layout on this one!
Notice the coffee cup?
love it!
Mark, you really went above and beyond with this page. All I can think about is how nice this would look on my wall. You are really kicking the crap out of the new format!
Thanks Josh!
Hey if you have a printer… I’d be honored.
Holy balls! Yes, I sure do. Pictures to follow in the coming days.
Love the falling down the stairs part. Great drawing!
Thanks Chris!
I liked this part too.
All the vinyl in this strip reminds me of some article I read a few months back about Richmond being one of the last bastions of old vinyl LPs.
That comment was pretty pointless, I’ll admit, but I’m loving this strip all the same.
I actually rode by 2816 Monument a couple weeks ago with my boss on our way back from the Hardywood Park Craft Brewery. I don’t think he gets webcomics though. Surf Wisely.
Hardywood Park is fantastic! I went to their grand opening party. Their “Singel” is delicious!
Every week this new format is making this comic better and better. I just got done reading Alligators in the Air! and you definitely have a skill for layout. That second panel is b-e-a-utiful.
Thanks Alex! Really appreciate it.
“They happened” … This Paul and Scott dialogue has got to be one of my favourite so far.
Thanks Gloria! This was a fun one to write.
