There has been a bit of interest growing around 2816 and some disappointment that I’m not updating. Updates begin on Monday, January 3, 2011.
Why? I have a habit of getting too excited about a project and publishing everything all at once. A day or two later when all the fun of showing new work has waned I realize that now I have to get back on the bus and go back to work. This unfortunately leads to dropped projects and a distrust between me the artist and the very few fans I have managed to attract.
2816 Monument is intended to be a long term project that we can all enjoy. In order to make that happen I need to build a backlog not only so I can take a day off every once in a while, but so I can prove to myself and you that I can stick to a long term project. I was a sprinter in high school but as a good friend of mine said this is a cross country marathon.
So don’t get your panties in a bunch, the gang moves in next month!
